He's not the only one Brendan is already well known as a closet Raggie. He doth protest but I have it on good authority (from the horses mouth) that he enjoys sailing & has been known to frequent said vessels that carry their washing for all to see.

thanx Eamonn i new i could rely on you to grass me up.dont panic fellow stinkies there are two reasons i am exploring this:

1/ if i learn how to sail it will give me an insight to what the hell there playing at when they tack across my bows without warning.

2/ I can learn what effect a motorboats wash has on a sailboat and its crew so i can increase speed and attack angle when im passing to achieve maximum distress.

or i could be a plant?

True. We stinkies call them "sun shades" or "bimini covers" but i admit it has downwind potential to whisk us along at a raggily-respectable 4 knots.

Must be carefull who you plot with !

I have doubts about SteveE after watching his driving style at the weekend

He regularly made use of the preceeding boats wash (mainly ours) to get his boat to tip over such that the guard rail was in the water at which point he had a huge grin on his face

This is something I have only really observed in Raggie behaviour in the past
