Thanks to Oldgit for capturing the dramatic moment I spilt my tea on Sunday (and Mrs Unit 18 wants a word as she got the antique fenders in as you well know).
Had an interesting weekend with Martin (Malthouse) and his chums at the Margit airshow.
No eggy stains though

As you can see, typical airshow weather, this is Sunday, the nicer day.

Spotted these herberts and just couldn't believe it, no tea and biscuits, so we had to effect an emergency transfer under trying conditions (Cheryl didn't want to give away the biscuits)

So duties done, off home we went.

And with remarkable timing managed to miss the tide and had to wait until 1.00am o clock to get onto our berth.
Nice to meet you Martin and chums, had a great (if a little roly poly) weekend.

It was great having you around, thank you for coming round and helping us out. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The turnout on the sea was lower than it could have been, but the organisers are very happy with the land based visitors. They also felt that the safety boats, marshalling and general preparedness of all the volunteers was second to none.

Yes, it was F5-6 on the way back to Ramsgit on Saturday, not too bad though (until we had to wait for a Ferry) as it was SW'ly. Oh yes, and it rained a bit. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
