I refer, of course, to my new mainsail that was shipped from the USA, lost by Parcelfarce, found by me at their Preston depot, lost again by Parcelfarce despite the intervention of the managing directors office and legions of minions, shipped back to the USA despite the assurances that this couldn't happen, re-sent by the supplier, arriving today some four months after ordering.
Parcelfarce have compensated me for the extra postage incurred and the senior management showed great concern for the plight of parcel whilst being unable to do a thing about it. The tail wags the dog in that outfit.
Now, if only the weather would sort itself out we'll looking very spiffy for our next sail on Windermere.
