Yes, She hates boats ! But offered to go out on new years eve and stay at anchor overnight !

Is this a good idea ?

Have you checked that she has not upgraded your life insurance ???? I mean New Years Eve a few drinks at anchor in the dark! sounds dodgy to me !!!!

She must want something .... SWMBOs only offer to do things like this when they want something in return.

My advice to you, treat the whole thing with suspicion, exercise extreme caution and make sure you know the whole deal you are signing up to before you set off on this new year's eve trip. My SWMBO also hates boats and I doubt I could get her to spend new years eve overnight at anchor for £1 million.

Well , Silly me !

I got excited !

Well , firstly she wants me to sell the boat , so she seesthat trip as a good bye trip(Not sure I like the sound of that !)

Also there is a kitchen that she really likes but it means a lot of hard earned dollars.

Not sure she wants to get rid of me yet since I am still good for a few minor things !

ps I havent even checked the tide that night , we need to get out/in on high tide so trips have to be in mulitples of 12 hours !
