Spotted this fine looking vessel on EBY's website today - http://www.boats.co.uk/boats-for-sale/fairline-targa-30-1354.

I'm pretty certain its my old boat. Last I hear she was looking a bit neglected but looking pretty swish now (not sure I like the white caulking or the green fabric).

Considering I paid £95k new in 1999 and sold her 18 months later for £85k she's held her value extremely well.

Brings back happy memories.

Did you choose green and swirly????

Of course if you take inflation into account £95k in 1999 is roughly £150k today but it's still not a bad physical drop

Also it's a stock boat so I reckon EBY have probably paid £50k ish

To my eternal shame, I did spec green (that's what happens when you listen to a woman) worktop but the fabric was a nice check and the carpets were beige. I'd have preferred a navy interior but at least I didn't order a green or red hull.

Hey JTB, when did you give up motorbikes and jump into bicycles instead? What's next, a trawler maybe...? :D
