von carlsberg is taking a risk here? after all, on the nuptials, he may never see his bride again as you demonstrate your orienteering skills without torch, map, gps etc whilst taking a short-cut to the church. so, we could offer advice to him that the sooner he asks for the daughter's hand the better?!

I was rather hoping the entangled couple would move with the times and bear the cost of the ceremony themselves. I've been considering hosting an evening do where I could charge say £10 a ticket and hopefully this would secure the Espace.

your quite in the spirit of this once in a life time(hopefully) opportunity.

You could charge more than £10. if you got your mates from here in to do the entertainment and catering. So thats Jimi & Para on the pipes, some of the other guys could do a bit of stand up, well until they'd had a few anyway, and I'll do the Fray Bentos cuisine. The Espace is in the bag. Which is a good place to keep one.
