My nipples are not long enough

7 Blakes seacocks that my new grease gun is struggling to clip on to as there is restricted access and they are very close to the seacock body.

Two potential solutions.

1. Find a smaller fitting for the flexible hose on the gun.
2. Fit longer grease nipples. They seems to be cheap anyway.

What would you do, and where would you buy the bits?

Have you tried to cool them down? - It seems to make them stand a little more proud.
