My new boat

[Moose]

Last week I decided to upgrade my boat to a somewhat larger model, okay so its quite a bit bigger, 128ft to be precise and will cost a bit more to run (especially with 7 crew) but its very nice and can cross the Atlantic. I think you will all agree that it is a big improvement on my previous boat in the foreground. My new boat is being kept at Cowes Yacht Haven till I decide where to moor it permanently.
Shall I keep "Toscana" as the Tender?

p.s You are all welcome to come to the naming ceremony next month,,,what shall I call it?? "Broke Moose"

Like the new boat,but you would think that with all the dosh you are spending to moor her there,that the marina could clear up drifting derelicts.Somebody appears to have abandoned an old hulk near your vessel/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

I have the sales info on this boat actually since my boss has been looking at similar (but newer) boats from the same builder. She was for sale as of June, asking 12.950 million USD.

LADINA is a 1989 De Vries Feadship, with a major refit in 2001. LOA actually 125'/38.09 meters.

Feadships are the Gold Standard for large motor yachts, and LADINA has been well-maintained, so she is good value at the price. Two other 40 meter Feadships on the market (both launched in 2002) have been asking between 22 and 26 million dollars.

Don't keep your boat as the tender, towing a tender is a hassle- I would recommend a partial exchange....

I suggest that you don't really want to keep your old boat as a tender.
You have the hassle of towing it, keeping it in good condition and everything else that is associated.
Therefore I suggest that you donate your old boat to a less fortunate person who has a huge burning desire to get afloat but who does not have the money for a boat.
Should you find it in your heart to donate your boat, please have no hesitation to PM me and I am sure that I can put you in touch with someone who is in need of a boat.
