looks a great little boat,a little unusual with the twin outboards.why did you go that route as opposed to one big one.at least you have the weather to enjoy your fine vessel.

Great fun boat. I like twin engines for that extra get you home security.

Do you work for the company that makes the boats, or just a happy owner? I guess the bright colours on the boat are not to everyone's tastes, but it gets you out on the water and that's the main thing.
In most of Europe there would almost certainly be speed limits through those buoyed areas, I don't know what the situation is in Malta, but if you're not sure you should probably find out.

the speed limit is 10 knots in harbours in Malta, and 5 knots in swimmers area
Kaptan are good boats, based on Maltese fisherman styles, it might be bigger overall to 15 but not by much
I think the twin OBs versus a single bigger choice is done for safety reasons which from this POV does make sense really
list of other Maltese builders is Chaudron (twice P1 SS champion 07/08), Falconboats, Speedcraft, Challenger, Albatros, Petercraft, Jetglass and may be some more which I can remember
most of these build sub 30ft powerboats
some other builders who used to produce in Malta are Italian Barberis and Rascala

I am actually a proud owner of the boat. The colours where made for my requirements. I am 22 years old so bright colours for a bright life I guess ! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
As regards to the buoyed area, the day we took the video was 1st January so there was no one in the water. not even the harbor works on that day and as you can see there were few boats moored at the time. The only thing you might encounter are illegal imigrants coming in Malta free for all.
