My little experimental anchor,how it performed

All the above is nonsense : It is perfectly possible to maintain copyright whilst publishing a work on the web, that in no way puts it into public domain. Rocna have lost the value of the sale of one anchor to you and that is quite enough to get a court order if they chose.

I don't agree.Rocna wouldn't have sold an anchor to me even if I had not made a copy.How could they prove what I would have done?If I started marketing an unlincensed version then they would have a case.
 
Rocna used to maintain that Manson copied their design but AFAIK they never took them to court over it. I don't think they will be too concerned over a single DIY anchor of somewhat similar design that is not made in the same materials.

It is complete and utter nonsense to think that publishing something on the Web puts it in the public domain, though. Where do people get this stuff from?
