Fuel drips at a slow but constant rate when working. I guess a leaking O ring maybe, is this a known issue and easily fixed?
For the avoidance of doubt:-Fuel drips at a slow but constant rate when working. I guess a leaking O ring maybe, is this a known issue and easily fixed?
For the avoidance of doubt:-
Is it leaking from the input side or output side?
What are the connections on the leaky side?
If it is the output side that is leaking don't be tempted to disassemble the pump - tales of lost springs and difficulty resetting pump volumes are commonplace.
It's on the output side so maybe a new one is the answer.
Depends if it is the pump or the connection with the fuel line that is leaking, actual pump leaks are rare indeed (unless somebody has fiddled) except for a cracked output nipple which may be a very simple repair using a compression fitting depending on how much sound nipple is left.
