After 6 days of fitting my wind thing, the boat is finally back together allthough it is lacking the stupidly expensive autopilot that I blew up. How will I steer manually accross Poole Bay on Saturday? I only know how to press "Auto" and "Track" what does the steer,,,,steer,,,,,steerin,,,,,steering well,,,,steering wheel do???
I managed to get the radar back on by re-tapping the threads and my square hole for a round inspection panel problem was solved by major hacking up (with a blunt rusty hacksaw) of the previously round panel to make it sort of squareish.
Why can't boats be made more "modualar" with massive conduits for loads of wires to go down and why can't anybody build a boat without using silicon sealant?

I cant stear manually. Only on engines out of marina. Then press button, I could sell two wheels and make a fortune. But folk would ask what had been there and mumble.

and I thought I was having a hard time renewing fuel lines - but it is 90F and about 80% RH here and my engines are corroding from my perspiration dripping on them!
