Okay folks, I spoke to Sue Riggs at Crest Nicholson Marinas today and she has asked that everyone who sent an email please RESEND to their Managing Director as they lost them!

The Managing Director's name is Mr. Simon Haigh and his email address is shaigh@crestnicholson.com

it will only take a couple of minutes but they have now told the family involved that their decision to evict is final. They have refused the mooring fees and told them to get out!

PLEASE RESEND YOUR EMAIL

Copy of my second email to the manager concerned

Dear Sir

You will be aware of the adverse publicity which you are getting on some boating forums.

Before anybody passes the story to television and the press - who love this sort of thing - it might be appropriate ton hear your views and reasons.

Anybody received a reply?

I sent and then re-sent e-mail to both s haigh and the company generally and have got no acknowledgement whatsoever... has anybody had better luck, or are they just ignoring all complaints?

Publicity

Hump

Wouldn't Yachting Monthly, P B O and/or Sailing Today be interested in this dreadful story? Especially since C N appear to be so unresponsive to 'concerned' eMails.

Presumably YM / PBO news editors actually monitor what goes on within this forum, so don't need to be 'told' - or should they be sent a press release eMail?

Apologies if this is an obvious point and already 'in hand'.

I receieved a very nice mail from Crest Nicholson today. A very prompt response to relocating Gayle Louise to Penarth/Portishead. At the same time I asked about the family.

He wrote that they had not been evicted, but naturally wouldn't go into details. He is sending me a brochure and we might go have a look within a month or so.
