\'Musty\' foam.

I have spare foam cushions, 4", and they are very musty smelling. I have removed the foam and despite lots of airing still smell. Is there any treatment available to sweeten up foam?

Not yet! I have it, but was waiting for something more relevant to foam before using it. Thanks.

The mould that's causing the smell may well be buried deep inside the foam. Getting whatever you use right into the middle of the foam will help, then you are going to need a good few sunny days for the foam to dry out - that could be the biggest problem /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

i heard that you could put the foam in a deep freeze for a week and that killed the pong.
