I saw in a free paper (the Metro) this week, a small add for Musto kit.
It's in the old Truman Brewery building(Brick Lane) near where I work.
The full address:
Shop G4, The Old Truman Brewery,
91 Brick Lane
London
E1 6QL
Entrance via Hanbury Street
I bought Offshore (BR1) Jacket & Salopettes (£247.00)
They have rackets of all sorts of other Musto clothes & a selection of boots too.
Open 11am to 7pm (only to Sunday 7th November)
No connection except a satisfied buyer.

I bought a MPX offshore kit from and outlet musto store last year, it fell apart. Was seconds, but in fairness Musto did replace both the Jacket and trousers after I sent photos of the lack of stitching compared with a local chandlery.

So watch out in Musto outlets and sales!

Just back and lots of last season mpx race and hpx for £125 a jacket, £100 trousers.

Actually surprising choice and picked up (another) jacket and couple of base layers.

Keep your wits about you, not all samples are finished to the full degree.
I once bought a drysuit from a firm who specialised in buying up "seconds", samples and old stock from the big names.
This dry suit had no seam tapes and was not even slightly waterproof.
Fully refunded with apology but if i'd bought from a jumble or transient shop it could have been different.

So I did ask about this as fully aware that samples are different quality. I was assured that the sailing stuff was clearance, where much of the fashion items were samples. I've taken a good look at the jacket and all seems well, it comes with regular warranty also!

Should be fine then, sounds like you've got a bargain.
But suppose somebody notices that you are wearing last years colour, could you stand the derision? :)

Buy seconds and get firsts it all depends on your hourly rate and 'how much your time is worth' i guess. Thanks for the tip.

Imagine you had bought it and your next stop was Clipper ventures 3 weeks of gales and rain. Firms should destroy seconds certainly when it is a safety issue. Drysuits are a safety issue.
