Mustn\'t grumble...........
....... but, I am a little bemused and saddened by a recent discovery.
As a long time subscriber to Yachting Monthly, and also a subscriber to the weekly email newsletter I enter all the competitions in the hope that one day I will disprove my theory that, if it wasn't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all! I could even get excited at the prospect of a day trip on bluQube!!
Now, before all the 'lower deck lawyers' become agitated, I had not read the small print! I know! But it's only a competition for God's sake!
So, I must say I did not expect a magazine, that takes the cover price from avid sailors all around the globe, to restrict winners to those who live in the UK. Also, it is worth stating that when one enters any of the competitions there is a pull-down menu in the address section inviting you to enter the name of the country you are from!
Am I being oversensitive and unnecessarily grumpy? Now, I suppose, there is absolutely no chance of me accompanying that other (much more famous grump), Robin K-J on a daysail on the Norfolk Broads!
