well mine have passed photo one stage, want to be everywhere, passed photo 2 stage, not really that interested, and now want to come everywhere with us - it seems to come round in this big loop. Son no.1 asked if he could take the boat out on his own yet, and how long before he could, if not now. Mentioned minimum day skipper qualification, so that should buy me some time....(BTW he is 19!)

Make the most of it, mine are 26 and 27 and seem to think of us as a free child minding service. We see more of them now, and less of the boat, than when they lived at home!

I must be the exception then /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif, past stage one and currently on stage two! But the skipper still can’t get rid of me! He says if he goes out on the boat without me I have a tantrum that is not worth the hassle so now I go everywhere on the boat with them. He he poor pair /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Shhh Paul, you know he doesn’t like it when people say that, makes him feel inadequate! But I do helm most of the time as he wants to sunbathe and when onboard your boat, you want to go to sleep all the time!

Jo- its you who try to make me sleep - remember when we encountered those 18 foot waves by the Eddystomne lighthouse and as we met each wave all I could hear you say was "sssssshhhhhhhhh ......" - so even then you seemed to be trying to shussh me to sleep!
