I am looking for a Muscadet 6m sailing cruiser, French and modelled on the Debutante. Does anyone know where one could be purchased?

There used to be plenty around in Northern France. Try Yacht Brokers there - you might be lucky.

John..Ive never seen one in the UK but there used to be thousands sailing around Brittany usually with 7 or 8 crew all under the age of consent, having a great time and with no auxillary apart from a sculling oar!

They did look a bit like a Deb but I didnt realise that there was any real conection

I guess you would have to try some French on line brokerage.
