I went down to the boat, and tried to fix one of the bogs. The one the kids use, of course, again. Dismantled the whole thing, to find several olive stones in the thing. Since it has had a bit of a beatingovr the years i failed to getit working, and also I erm slightly busted the lectric motor for no good reason. But anyway at least that made it broken good and proper for the reatof the weekend,so no chance of fixing it till find new parts.

This evening back at the ranch i ticked off son#1 about eating olive pits and these were quite large one, so don't do that for crissakes, i toldim. He said fair enuf sorry BUT in mitigation he said that it was during a visit to see Mr and Mrs L that he was plied with giant olives, supplied by Mrs L, and the bog was broken within 24 hours after that, and we only buy olives with no stones innem anyway don't we dad? Yep, that's true. Hence i'm afraid it's obviously her fault, sort of, a bit.

Thank goodness he doesn't like Mangoes ! Alternative solution may be to buy Dynarod or similar ..

He could have course have used the spitoon provided in our lounge ... although it may need emptying in a couple of years .

Mrs L very impressed as definitely BIGGEST Olives in World ... next time Boiled Rice only 2 B provided ...

I'd offer to help but suffering badly from sunburn at the moment. I also have loads of 'Thank You' and 'Sorry' notes to write - I will probably get around to this after applying to The Guinness Book of Records for the most unbalanced restaurant bill in history.

Suggest Livio gets replacement in pretty fast as Owner - Skipper rumoured to have need to disembowl (sic) heads on rumour of sons eating anything other than aubergine and cabbage.
