Well Mr Chellers phoned yesterday to say that they would be coming home from the Channel Islands overnight to Portsmouth, and then texted later to say there was no wind so they were staying another day on Guernsey.

For those who don't know, he's two thirds of the way through a three week sailing holiday on Tante Helena, our previous boat, with the boat's new owner and another friend.

Sounds like they're having a fab time. They spent a week mucking about on the South Coast before crossing to the Channel Islands and visiting most of them.

And whilst he was doing this, I was cycling on my own through Germany (report here: http://docs.google.com/View?id=d5c4npx_7gj4x7xds)

Anyway, he should return to Shotley on Saturday or Sunday but if any of you see a Bav34, Tante Helena, around - do wave! Then he'll be working hard on antifouling Chellers and fixing her rudder in the hope that we can be afloat for the Pirate Weekend!

He phoned last night and said they're going to Ramsgate today.

Yesterday was apparently the first day they'd had a rough sea (in the morning only) so they've been very lucky with the weather.
