Entering Conwy marina car park today. There was a car in an odd position. The barrier opened to let us in, where upon, the other driver dashed to his car, to get out. However unfortunately the barrier closed before he could get through.

We'd just worked out a fiendish plan of telling him to back down to the bottom of the car park, whilst we went round again. Then when I blew my horn. He should aim at full speed for the barrier, so as we went in again, he could escape.

We got the vidio camera primed for the action packed movie.

Before we could put the plan into action, some spoil sport, pointed out the exit gate.

Wasn't me this time, but I have managed to get out through the 'in' barrier - I was cutting it fine to get back to pick my kids up from school, but when I got back to the car park a boat transporter had pulled in through the 'out' barrier, and blocked the whole thing up. Was wondering what to do when somebody pulled up to the 'in' barrier.... Flash of inspiration then the full Mr. Bean thing - charged through as soon as they cleared the barrier

Also followed someone through the 'in' barrier once without 'blipping' it (no particular reason, just didn't think). The barrier started coming down when we were half way through, and shuddered to a halt at about the same time as I hammered on the brakes. So it does seem to have an emergency stop of some sort

It reminded me, of going into the Easten block. around iron curtain time. Checksovaciia i THINK. The barier came down between my truck and trailer. I smashed it to bits.


No probs though.
