MP sleeps on motor boat in East London?!

I was working next to it today, don't think it's a Bayliner but if it's really that important I can have a look in the morning.:D

Actually on second thoughts as this is your first post and your interest may be other than as just a fellow boater I won't.

I believe the "Daily Mail" take on the story would have been it's - Politician has bought Sunseeker 80 on expenses, costing tax payers millions. His carbon footprint has been the main cause of the floods up North, and we are all Doomed :)

A very strange first post. I wonder what his interest is?

Reading the story and have to say the mp comes across as a nice guy with a decent boat, good luck to him.
Ex army so the sleeping bag wont come to hard.

and at a value less that a tenth of what a tiny one bedroom studio flat may cost in the general area... if someone is digging for a story of an MP's greed and expense wrong doing, they are not going to find it with Johnny Mercer and his little boat!

I still use my army doss bag over 30 years after I got it. Great bit of kit, my son's mates have used it when they have slept on his floor.
