After reading all your posts over the months I am looking forward to this coming winter now.
You are right about Colin though!!!!
Guess you might be up the far end with the normal posh folks - and him of course.

You're sooo lucky..I was there last weekend. It was sunny and warm and had dinner at Port Vell. You'll have to visit the Nou Camp too!

Where were you?????

I was there for nearly 4 weeks and left on Sunday - and its been bloody freezing there all the time. OK during the day if you could get out of the wind it was bearable but not after dark. Had to even go inside a bar and not sit outside. Did manage a cup of coffee outside a bar one day though!!!!

Choo and Blahnik disclose ambitious growth plans for 2005

In a suprise move today, two of the world's premier luxury shoe brands announced plans for accelerated growth in the Iberian Peninsular. Spokesmen for the companies were reluctant to disclose their reasons for this unexpected development, but both indicated that they were in possession of confidential market data that led them to believe there would be an upsurge in the demand for designer footwear, particularly on the Northern Mediterranean Iberian coast.

In a move believed to be linked to these developments, several Designer clothes shops in Brighton announced closing down sales and mass redundancy programmes. Brighton is to be declared an enterprise zone, with large subsidies to entice new employers into the area, in an effort to minimise damage to the local economy.

George, I think it drives Mr B mad that with all the shoes I own, I'm always barefooted on the boat and in and around the marina. Even in winter.

I'll be sure to try out the Fastnet Bar /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I was staying a few minutes walk from the Port..it WAS warm and sunny and I have photos to prove it!...We were out at night with admittedly a jacket on, but ate outside during the day and on the Sunday were on the beach having breakfast!...The Ramblas was full of people at the bars outside....obviously I am thicker skinned than you and must have been drinking something stronger than coffee!....compared with the UK it WAS hot.
