Hi,
In order to fit a waterlock to my UFO 34 I need to move the port hand cockpit drain skin fitting. This is unfortunate but just cannot be helped because of the tank and engine layout. The drain could be moved to either of two locations as follows :
Option 1 means passing the cockpit drain hose through a hole in the bulkhead between the locker and the engine compartment, which I would prefer not to do.
Option 2 is in the location of the arrow in the pic but I wondered whether I should expect any issues with the cockpit draining when on the wrong tack ?
I am going to get a pro in to do the work but any comments or suggestions on my new cockpit drain location would be much appreciated,

- The starboard side of the engine bay next to the stbd side cockpit drain (see pic below)
