Moved? It's not "moved" ; it is deleted or suspended.

I was enjoying it - it wasn't a long thread so easy and not time consuming for Mods to just remove the offending "banter"

or maybe someone didn't like my advice re taking the engine to Redline?

It was "moved" at the request of the OP, yes we could have taken out all of his posts but that would make no sense and on this occasion we chose to remove the whole thread.

Some may say this is the wrong decision some may say the right (I have a feeling I know which his yours!) but tis done now and you can of course draw your own conclusions as to why...

Cheers

I wasnt throwing anything . I never had a boat for sale i just helped out a New boater in 2009 . Went well out of my way to help .
He pops up again and i said nothing untill another forum member found out that he was selling the boat after asking for help . I then said something so other forum members didnt waste thier time helping out someone that seems to be taking advantage of the forum to buy and sell boats .
I could be wrong but by asking for the thread to be removed and the same situation as i was in with the poster tells me i am right . I do hope i am wrong though .

Hmmm, his ad's still on Flea Bay [link removed]

Looks like the engine problem's sorted - just needs a new impeller .

Yep, I think the forum worked axactly as it should do, collective wisdom got the right result. People on these forums have always gone well out of their way to help newbies, from a bit of training to the full blown trailer relays. But the guy was taking the mick, and it was the OP that threw his dummy out of the pram, no Cuchilo.

Hear Hear! for Cuchilo, tried to help out with good intent, shame on the final outcome in this situation, especially should others find themselves in need of genuine assistance.

+1; and I will add that Cuchie has helped me re potential boat purchase in the past :)

The fleabay boat has 3.5 days to run and was reduced by £100 for a quick sale yesterday - no bidders as yet
