Mounting plates (cables/pipework/house) for

Hi all

What would the collective advise on mounting plates!

I need to mount two pipes, conduit, a small cable, exhaust hose and possibly other bits. The are presently zip-tied to each other on the floor. This is hard to clean. I want to mount these on a vertical face to make it easier to clean.

Instead of making eleventy billion holes i thought about using mounting plates that I can then add lots of fasteners too.

So, what material for these? Something that can be drilled for mounting fasteners, or glue-able with epoxy?

Plywood perhaps?
This mounting plate for the AP control box and the associated wiring sits in my cockpit locker and is held to the inside of the GRP hull with Sika 291 only.

12 or 18mm ply pads. You can screw or glue to a vertical face and the attach your bits. I used this method for things like the bus bars, 240v consumer unit, fuel filter, water strainer.

Just a couple of coats of semi matt varnish.

I use HDPE (plastic chopping boards) cut to size for mounting pads. Cheap, available in any supermarket and doesn’t rot.

I can't remember now as the last time I glued a piece was a while ago. It was whatever I had to hand, either Sika or silicon.
