Just about to order a new frame to mount the solar panels on and thought - that's going to corrode like mad. Panels have ally frame and new mounting frame will be stainless to fit on stainless radar arch. 2 thoughts; get plastic top hats for the bolts to isolate between to two. Not easy here in Canaries; or use plastic nuts and bolts to join them with a strip of draft exluder tape between them, might not be strong enough. Any other ideas? Will it corrode that badly? I think it will over time. All ideas welcome.

Duralac on the fasteners; plastic on the frame.

Of course! Keep the frames seperate and with plastic washers the only contact is the shaft of m6 bolts covered in duralac. Top marks, thanks.

I bolted timber battens under my solar panel, and then mounted the timber on the backrail. Just had to shape the timber to go around and clamp onto the rail. Timber was easy and cheap to work, and there is no metal/metal contact, so no corrosion after 6 years.
