Don't think you'll find anything that does what you want, all of them restricted by hull speed unless you go the route of the McGregor which is a 26' outboard powered sailing boat. These have a mixed reputation, being neither a true power or a sail boat.

I don't think you will find a displacement motor sailor that will sail and motor at 15 knots, sorry, but in the 35-45 feet you can only expect about 8 knots max, due to the displacement calculations. IMHO

As others have said, a boat of that length will plane at 15kts and requires big engines to do so. Virtually all motor sailors are displacement boats, so speed in knots is limited to approx 1.5 x sq root of waterline lenght in feet. ie about 8-9 knots in your case

There are very few planing motor sailors. There was a one off soni-levi with a hydraulically lowered planing surface, and the macgregor mentioned above, here's a pic of it:

The Grand Banks sail is just a steadying sail.

Yes - was wondering the same thing - what about one of those cat fishers that they were building a while back - I think they were in the 34 mark. 15 knots does seem a bit optimistic even so

I was thinking about the old hulls, I do believe they did flatten the hulls aft later to make them more like a nelson type semi displacement, bu the older ones, were pure displacement. I bet they use lots of fuel, when doing 20 knots, they have the aerodynamics of a block of flats!
