There I was minding my own business looking at ST heliers Marina when round the entrace came a troop of mobos hell bent on mooring up. Flying french courtesy flags and a plaque sayingmotor boat rally. I watched the usual frenzy of boats trying to all more up at once, they dident do too bad.

Anyone know whats it all about. Forecast was not good and quite a bit of fog around

Why were they flying French courtesy flags? Have we sold Jersey to the French or summink to cut our national debt? The Daily Telegraph is going to go apoplectic over this:)

I don't know their itinerary, but maybe they went via Cherbourg? Or they entered the 12 mile limit off France and were just being ultra-polite?

To be fair I think the weather was pretty grotty with quite a bit of fog and I would imagine they lost their incentive to go about changing flags

I wish

Surprised they hadn't replaced the French courtesy flag with a Q.

I guess Vice Admiral Shead wasn't on board to encourage discipline.

Do you think they actually let me out on the water.....This is left firmly to Neil and Claire, who do an excellent job, although I understand that Publishing Royalty also made an appearance on this trip.
