Long shot but was wondering if anyone might be able to tell me who this boat was built by?

Thanks in advance

My first thought was a Fairey with a non original hard top, but that massive strake suggests not..... most likely some sort of custom based loosely on the Fairey Swordsman would be my guess.

Did you hear that? That was the noise of Sonny Levi and Alan Burnard turning in their graves.

Need to ask COPC or Graham Stevens or Charles Lawrence or Martin Napier.

That would have been my guess too. Brookes Marine did something similar in small numbers most notably Ocean Pirate who had sister ships. If it's aluminium hulled I'd probably lean that way.

remember seeing an ad for that, recall GRP hull and wooden superstructure. Chimney suggests use as a liveaboard.

It is defo not a Fairey.

Its not even close to a Fairey.

In fact, its so far away from a Fairey that you'd need the hubble telescope to see it.

Fairey my arse.

Well there we go. I trust you are proved right or there may be a queue of shady sailors waiting on your pontoon. :D

I don't know much about very much at all, but I do know about Fairey. Over 20 years I have had 7, still have 4, have rebuilt 3, been Commodore of the Owners Club and published a book on repairing them.

I'm confident.

Well we cant say you lack credentials then :encouragement:

And on that note, I'll go to Specsavers :p
