I don't think its quite as bad as that but until a couple of years ago, Scutyerbutt was behind in terms of total numbers of threads and posts and now, they're ahead on both counts. I suppose we have to tell ourselves that we are members of a more exclusive club now

I guess many have other things on their mind, but for me the cold water launching, new job and old jobs, domestic Christmas preparations and a bigger, project boat are keeping me off the water. :( Thus not much 'boaty' going on...

However, I have a few days off in the New year, so a) going to brave the cold and get out & b) will probably have a load more questions for the forum's wisdom as the project proceeds! ;)

Seems like a poor excuse to me, Seahope. I'm sure your thoughts are just as valid as anyone's, plus we (well I would) would like to hear how things are going with the recovery of your boat if you don't mind sharing.

I'd like to but I promised David I wouldn't post a blow by blow account of the refurbishment and I'm a man of my word.

When the boat is ready I will post some pictures. I must say I really have missed going out on the boat this year.

I have posted in the lounge about the fun I'm having away from the water in my new 'toy'. http://www.ybw.com/forums/showthread.php?t=297443 Oh well, I didn't really need a bow thruster anyway and I'll have more fun with the car.

Well, I for one have a good excuse for not posting here since I am still without use of my boat.

I still virtually hang around these parts from time to time and think that there are still some cracking posts here.

I assume theat the repairs to your boat are work in progress?
I for one would be intersted to know how it's going?

More likely bickering over in the lounge.

In the lounge when you post something that someONE doesnt like they dont bother to reply.

If you post something here on the mobo forum that someONE doesnt like they tend to stick the boot in.

result I delete many drafted posts as its too much hassle (which I suspect others are also doing).
The humour has been wiped off this forum by a few old forum members who dont post anymore anyway except to complain.

If only they would allow the humour back they could ignore the humorous posts and just read the serious ones which would increase as the forum becomes popular again.

We could always ask CG1 if he will post again :D
