Taking advantage of some fine weather , we went to Salcombe last Friday. They still have no shower or toilet facilities , and there was no rubbish disposal facility near our mooring but they still charged us almost £20 for one night on a buoy. Is this the most expensive mooring in the UK excluding the Solent?

Could you amend the title so that it's quite clear you mean VISITORS' moorings please?
hat will avoid ambiguity and wasted posts.

Why, do you know of any non-visitors yacht moorings that cost more than £20 a day? If so, it would be interesting to hear about them...

It'll be the SWMBO - allows a certain no. every month AND NO MORE until the spare bedroom is redecorated. You know how it is...

No - if you bring your boat up to the Bristol channel and warn us beforehand, you will be charged £45 for the night.

Don't know /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif The most expensive one I could find was this one at £5 a night:

For future reference, there are some toilets on the Eastern side of the river just off the beach opposite the main quay on the Western side... if that makes any sense. They aren't particularly brilliant, to say the least, but better than nothing, I suppose. I only found them by looking on the chart!
