We've been looking at another boat or two, and have decided that we need to think about being ready to make a move should the right boat pop up.... she may not sell quickly, or she may be gone in no time at all.... time will tell

Big decision for us though!

nowt at the moment Jim, although there have been a few we've liked the look of.... we're avoiding temptation by intentionally not going to see them.... but have decided that we want to change, and the first step has to be selling Morgana, followed by the second step which is getting employed again!.... then we'll be in a position to make a decision... there seems to be plenty of choice in the market for the sort of thing we have in mind....

Criteria are simple:

Heavier than present
Encapsulated keel
Skeg mounted or keel mounted rudder
Preferably Cutter rigged, but not hung up this, a good Sloop wouldn't be ignored, as wouldn't be the right Ketch
Size not critical, but like the space on Morgana, so poss means a few feet bigger than her if we want similar space on an older design... but not the main driver
Handling systems for sails in the cockpit and accessible from the helm
Good galley, useable at sea
Decent sized fridge, and if poss a freezer
LOTS of storage

This will be our 'off sailing' boat, and we've learned from our previous experiences what we want.

Good luck Neil,

I hope you find the boat of your dreams, and sell Morgana for a good price, all at the same time, and have fun looking at other boats, too!
