After the Boat show yesterday, which incidentally I thoroughly enjoyed, We are interested in purchasing a Prestige 42S from this boatyard. Any comments positive or negative would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance Geoff.

No. They are the Jeanneau dealer for the East coast, so looking to purchase from them. Just looking for feedback as I don't know them from Adam.

Geoff,

I got my MF625 from them brand new and then I went back 3 years later and got my MF805 second hand. Both times they were very courteous and very helpful. The staff are good to deal with. I've dealt with both brothers and each have their pluses and minuses as we all do. No surprise that my "new" purchase got more attention than my "2nd hand" purchase. I'd deal with them again. PM me if you want the warts and all.

Chris

LH Morgan & Sons (Morgan Marine) Have been established in Brightlingsea for many years taking over the old chandlery of Orton and Wenlock back IIRC in the early 70's.

Run by brothers Rick and Steve, with a VERY good support team working alongside. They are more focussed on Power than Sail, BUT still offer a good service to both.

Having dealt with them and known them virtually all my life, I would say they are as trustworthy as you are going to find in the marine industry, and as they have Moorings, Yard and Services and Sales I would guess they are a pretty stable organisation in todays economic climate.
