does anyone out there know anything about them although mine is fibre glass i am hoping that they have the same charactaristics as the wooden boat they where copied from mine suffers with very heavy weather helm at all points of sail almost imposible on a run ta Kieron

Too much weather helm? Could it be that you're making her work too hard to try and keep up with today's plastic lightweights? I find swapping the big genoa for the working jib and easing the mainsheet when it blows fives and over makes the problem go away - you shouldn't slow down noticeably, either. And with the Morgan Giles 30's lovely sea-kindly ride you can sail on regardless through a small gale as the lightweights furl down to a hankerchief and scuttle for the nearest harbour. I love mine!
