Did anyone nottice his footwear when he stepped out? It looked like a pair of Dubarry boots, maybe he really was expecting to land in the drink?

Looks like his RTW record for sailing could fall fairly soon so I wonder whether he will come back and try and regain it, if he does it will need a new boat me thinks - could be interesting!?!?
