It is also the Thames boat clubs' RNLI Rally at Queen's Promenade, Surbiton, on 21st and 22nd September. This is on the reach downstream from Raven's Ait.

Also tomorrow a kayak marathon race in the Pangebourne reach; one of the organisers has just advised me it would a bit difficult to move whilst the race was on (when I queried this she agreed it would be OK if vessels go slow)
