Darkness + background light distraction St Maxine in the 1st and Juan les Pins in the 2nd -Speed -lack of attention - lack of local knowledge
But I suspect helm,s faculties likely impaired with Alcohol was the most contributing factor

Yeah I had some mates on the boat over the weekend and went down to Pampellone on Monday for lunch. Actually managed to get a berth in St Tropez harbour as well

Which begs a question. I can see the anchor was deployed in the 2nd video but was it deployed as they were drifting ashore and if it was deployed why didn't it hold?
