Hello all, sorry to be a bore but I am hoping to get some collective feedback from you. The boat has just come out and upon fully cleaning up the outdrives (Vilevo SX) I have noticed a few areas where the paint appears to be pitted & exposing what looks to me like the substrate below. Both anodes on each leg are quite nicley wasted, but still have a bit of life in them. The props are immaculate- no signs of corrosion. I noticed it a little last season & just primed the affected areas antifouled as usual. The drives were new 3 years ago. I would be very intersted if anyone else has the same issue & is it something I should be worried about.

Sounds normal for a leg that has had it's anodes eaten away. I'd either change the anodes more often or add additional for safety.
I'm sure it's said somewhere (probably by an anode manufacturer) that once they have been reduced by half, anodes should be replaced as they are no longer effective?
