hmm.. seems like several of the most northwesterly boats are ybw ones.... I see ahead of me whitelighter, trev and sunshine - with dyflin anbd fireball somewhere close behind.
And I'm falling back rapidly.. I was once 45th (and three places behind booby trapper, who is now 25th) . I'm now 254th.... errr... back to the drawing board.
at least we have the right side of the clockwise rotation of the wind...
Happily my memory is failing with age, and I deliberately remember when I was 7th, and not where I am at the moment!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I was starting to think that as well trev, but I have to stick with it now for the long plan. the winds from the West look good further north and i think we will be able to have a very fast run onto the line.
The question is, when will we get through the light patch.
Stay with it. i think we both might be in a better position than you think.
I knew I would have a coulple hours tacking to get through but hadn't quite worked out it would be during the night. Do I set a CC and hope the wind turns around me or stay up and play the wind shifts /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
