Ahoy there; I well might be in need of a reasonable charge for temporary moorings on the River Tamar, or the Lyner and Tavy (either side, Devon or Cornwall) for a limited period.

Can I ask if anyone knows or can recommend where and to whom one can apply or contact please.

The craft is sub 20ft and a motor driven one.

Thank you, in advance Capt Popeye {:-)#

Depends on how long you want to moor. The River Tamar Jubilee Pontoon just upstream of the bridges (Cornish side) has been reopened after being removed and is now controlled by Saltash County Council( Nicely refurbished and been open 7 weeks. They have a Waterfront Portacabin thing at the end of the pontoon bridge manned 8 hrs a day. Temp mooring for visitors is free for 2hrs. Over that it's £15 per day. If you need a more lengthy stay you might be able to negotiate but they are keen to encourage short term visitors and not a floating residential blob. Having said that there are some fingers for small boats available for longer term mooring. { Wrong Phone Number removed by request. Mod]

Ahoy , all reply's, thoughts, suggestions very much appreciated, including the PMd ones; well my deposit on the craft has been accepted, but ongoing talks /thoughts as details on 'whats included' are thought about as we both want to be 'fair' on the deal.
Thank you all, will now see how we proceed.

Hi - could you please remove this mobile number from the post please? Our eco technology business now has this mobile number and we are receiving so many calls. Many thanks
