A Henley boating firm, Hobbs of Henley, has bought new moorings at Caversham Lakes. They completed the purchase of the land at Dreadnought Reach, which was previously owned by businessman David Sherriff, after months of negotiations. Full story

That Jonnie Hobbs will own the river eventually unless Chris French ups his game ?

I used to moor at T&K and I'm having difficulty locating just where these moorings are. I was aware that David Shrrif retained some pontoons on the left when entering from the river but nowhere near enough for the boats talked about in the Standard.

Things have changed a bit since you moored there Ian. You are correct that David Sherrif retained land to the left as you enter the marina, but some of this has been dug out and pontoons installed. There may be a couple of finger pontoons, I haven't really paid that much attention to what is there, but I think mostly they are long pontoons where larger boats can moor alongside. There are also a couple of spots on the river itself with power pedestals which I think are already occupied.
