I have to lay a few moorings at Dale this weekend. I need to drop off the chain and sinkers at low tide and float them out as the tide floods.

Came across this:

http://www.daleyc.freeuk.com/page2.html

It seems to work in firefox but not IE8 for me.

BTW. We should be there 14:00ish on Friday. Grey Rib.

You can watch us do it!

:D

We had a mooring in Dale for years and I always wished that they had a webcam there!!

It seems a fairly clear picture as well. Our mooring was out by the visitors pontoon though so I dont know how clear the boat would be.

Good luck with the mooring laying.

Another forumite will be there on Saturday, evidently. If I'm home, I intend to watch the cam and judge by the wake of his dinghy how many pints he has at the Griffin!

If I see any formite being silly enough to speed after a few drinks I will be happy to remenstrate with them. On my way back from the pub and/or yacht club.

I was thinking more of the direction(s) of the wake, rather than the speed. :D

I may be forced to stay behind on Saturday, just to ensure that anyone leaving the pub late gets back to their boat safely. I'll probably watch from the beach, lying down.
