Making the first splice was a nightmare but with the help of you tube it soon became a breeze.The swivel is made of some scrap 316 Stainless I had lying around and was Tig welded.The rod is 12mm and was shaped with my homemade metal bender.The pin comes from an old 25mm shaft.
Why buy a perfectly adequate 20€ stainless swivel if I can spend several days making one at home....?
