If anyone is interested there's a plot of land for sale with a wooden landing stage capable of taking a 40-50ft boat. It could even be a site for a house boat, allegedly.
It's in a fantastic position - 5mins walk from the centre of town.
If you wanted to keep a cruiser then she would need to have a low airdraft. Narrow boats and larger broad-beam barges manage ok.
Asking price £50k. Being sold by Bigwoods.
They sold an adjacent "plot", at auction a few weeks ago, suitable for a 60-65ft boat, for £65k.
No rowdies need apply as I only live about 100yds away.
