Mooring in North Wales

I found one (mooring in North Wales that is) and then had to disappear for a month with Work, I got back and with good reason the gentleman had let it go elsewhere. So I'm on the prowl again for a hook for my 23ft Bilge Keel Sailing Boat---ideally Beaumaris or Red Wharf, but hey, I'm not as fussy as I was 3 months ago!

Any help much appreciated,
Tony,

Tony,
Depends really where you want to be, but I wholeheartedly recommend Porthmadoc. It's particularly god for bilge keelers because most of the cheaper moorings dry at low water. It's also very sheltered on the drying moorings behind Ballast Island. They are council moorings and the harbour master (Dafyd) has all the info.

Have you thought about the pile moorings, swinging mooring or the trots at Pwllheli? Information from the harbour master. Shell Island is very cheap, but access is poor if you have a deepish keel.
