I'm currently thinking about a mooring in Langstone Harbour. Does anyone have advice about this?

In particular I am a little worried about accessibility. We have a good sturdy tender with outboard but its not something I want to drag far! I am also thinking about getting the car near for loading/unloading? We are currently in Portsmouth and have good access at all states of the tide with the dinghy but the cost keeps rising above my limited funds...

Me too- Chi this time

Chichester is a possible for me- a drying mooring at Emsworth.

Info about parking, security, mud (and walking on at LW), water taxis, using tenders.. etc...

Pontoons nearby to load up/overnight, marinas...

Speak to harbour master next to Hayling ferry about mooring. If you do decide you can park up right next to the water down by the ferry Portsmouth side.
Regards thievery - it happens everywhere just take as many precautions as possible, or give up boating ;)

Are you asking or telling?

FWIW:
Parking: difficult
Security: excellent once the tide has gone out!
Mud: VERY soft around most moorings. No chance of getting to/from boat.
Water Taxi: weekends during season.
Pontoon: yes at the Millpond for short stays. FW.
Marinas: Emsworth Yacht Hbr. Access (cill) a bit less that the moorings.
Town: everything you are likely to want, especially pubs and food.
