Mooring fees, South East

I am paying nearly £1500 a year to moor my boat at Essex Marina, could any boaters out there advise me of alternatives, in the south east. Thanks James

I moor in Ipswich.. Neptune Marina to be precise... it is about 45 minutes to teh North Sea - if that is what you are looking for?

Cost per foot is £45 + vat, assuming annual payment... not quite the cheapest in my neck of the woods, but near as damn it!

No restrictions, Lock gates manned 24 x 7 x 52...

Very friendly, helpful.. excellent facilities locally...

where abouts in South East is Neptune Marina? £45 pf sounds reasonable MDL on Thames is £271 per metre

Neptune marina is in Ipswich - up the River Orwell, abotu 40 minutes cruise to the north Sea.

Depending on where you live, it is just over an hours drive from London 9assuming north easterns area) and about 1.5 hours from Kent.

tell me where you live (Roughly) and i can let you know how long it will take to get there!
