Welcome to the forum Sara, if you filled in your profile and put your home or mooring location, maybe someone near to you would offer a little free tuition.

If you are anywhere near the northwest I'd happily offer the little knowledge I have.

I know an RYA instructor who teaches both sail and power. He was excellent. Very patient, doesn't yell etc etc. I believe he teaches at most locations on the south coast. Approx. £100 per day on your boat and you set the agenda. Send me a PM if your still interested and I'll mail you his number.
