The Ouse system has come up nearly 300 mm since 10am.
A friend and myself have just spent an hour adjusting other peoples mooring lines in the wind and rain.
Now some people can moor their boats, so that if the lines come up bar tight they can be released, but others can't manage to do that. One narrowboat has torn the walkon apart and I can't get to the mooring safely. Some people you just can't help.
